Practicing Sun Salutations as Mediation, Prayer & Power
Beginning on the Summer Solstice—a natural time of expansion—this four-class series will explore our capacity to drop down in the inherent stillness of our bodies so we may more authentically move, expand and heal.
Tuesday, June 20 – Friday, June 23: 12 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Simple pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation will be followed by a traditional vinyasa practice that explores posture as a way to unfurl the spine and connect with and direct prana. Emphasis will be placed on Surya Namaskr, the sun salutation. Each class will end with guided meditation to support unwinding and empowerment. All levels welcome.
Friday Tea, Treats & Discussion 1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Cost: $60 for series/$18 per class
Register: Please call Brooke at 406.370.6627 to save your spot. We will cap the class at 12 students, so be sure to reserve early.
