A Call to Witness
Join us in welcoming Desiree back to Bozeman for a weekend of loving-kindness in the form of yoga and meditation. Now, more than ever, we need the lessons of our practice to live with presence and skill, to be less distracted, and to enjoy harmony with life. Desiree brings over 30 years of skillful yoga study, experience, experimentation and creativity to her ever-evolving, outside-of-the-box style of teaching. She incorporates real life stories and “kitchen table” wisdom into her workshops to remind herself and her students that the key to their happiness and freedom from suffering lies only within the boundaries of their own mind. Desiree is a master at delivering the complexity of yoga in a down to earth, easily understandable way to students of all ages and levels of experience. Celebrating the release of her new book “Fearless After Fifty: How to Thrive with Grace, Grit and Yoga”, she is excited to share from her deep and passionate exploration of self-care through yoga. All levels are welcome to attend these classes.

Friday PM, 11/17/17, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm Soul Food: Hip Openers, Meditation and Pranayama
In this class you will be introduced to the actions that will heal and strengthen your body, especially your back and hips. This work will be continued and further explained throughout the weekend. Between Friday and Sunday your body, mind and heart will begin a process of transformation.
Saturday AM, 11/18/17, 10:30am - 1pm The Integration of Core Strength and Flexibility in the Spine: Backbends
Learn how to support your entire spine and then create freedom through extension. Whether you are stiff or flexible, these teachings will help you improve your practice. You will feel taller and have more energy and your back will thank you for coming.
Saturday PM, 11/17/17, 2:30pm - 5:00pm Balancing the Psoas with Seated Poses and Twists
Rejuvenate your entire body and release stuck energy with these poses. Even if you have very stiff hamstrings, you will notice the difference these poses make and you will leave this class with a spring in your step.
Sunday AM, 11/18/17, 10:30am - 1pm The Integration of Strength and Flexibility in the Shoulders and Neck: Inversions and Arm Balances
Here's a little known secret: these poses, while challenging, are actually the antidote for text neck syndrome. The upper body strength you will gain from practicing safely will benefit you throughout your life. You will learn step by step how to increase your power and carry your own body weight.
